8,000 likes away from 500,000! GW2 Facebook

ANet's Guild Wars 2 Facebook page has been getting the love as they are now 8,000 likes away from 500,000--and the incentive of releasing something...big? If its bigger than what 490,000 likes revealed recently, I am interested.



If you haven't liked Guild Wars 2 on Facebook, or know another Guild Wars player who has not yet--lets get the likes going and release whatever is behind door number 3!

I'll like the game when it is finally released... And I'll like it on my PC, don't do Facebook...

I unliked them on FB some time ago. I decided they should rather work on the game rather than some stupid like thing. They seem to be taking FB and Twitter too serious, most news should be also put on the main website but aren't in favour of some 'social marketing' stuff.

Those making the game are usually not the same people working on the publicity. While I agree it's dumb to ask for "likes", it's not as dumb as not having a marketing campaign.
