I kinda wondered the same thing, I think that the addition of the explorable mode of the charr catacombs is one of the changes... but "Changes" would imply multiple and the only other thing listed was improvements to server stability and such.

Not going to quibble about the "s" though, and mention that after seeing the leaked update notes, that if even a small number of those are included on the bwe servers, "exciting changes" will be an accurate description.

I didn't see that in the update notes! Does that mean I can get a rainbow candycane staff for my necro, cause that would be AWESOME!!! Hehe.

I'm quite surprised they decided not to wipe our characters. It gives me a chance to continue with my ele!

I think the fixes they have planned for this BWE sound exciting and should make play, especially in groups, better.

To be honest, I'm not. It would make sense to keep our characters, as we can go further, touch new things and see if they work as planned also. Otherwise, you'll only keep on touching the same stuff over and over as the masses won't have the opportunity to get to higher level content

This does not mean there are no changes; it only means that those two races still will not be playable. I don't know what's up with that, but whatever.

It is unlikely they would give us a new BWE withou patching anything. It would be really nice of them to open it back up just to let us play, but unlikely. And if that were the case, it probably would have been thispast holiday weekend.
