I have a Logitech G19 keyboard and upon booting the game I noticed a shiny GW2 icon on the lcd screen.
There are several screens, which you can click to see larger (sorry about the poor quality, just my phone)
Status of current map
Stats of my character
Status of world exploration
Data on who and what is being killed in the current map
WvW data?
Not entirely correct, HP on screen is 316 vs 275 on G19

Was positively surprised myself.
A word on the G19 panel itself, I rarely find myself paying attention to it. While playing games, I simply don't look down on the keyboard. So I usually display the clock so I can keep track of time. It's nice gadget, but to me fairly useless for gaming.

Ah, that's not bad! Now take it and throw it in the bin. All the cool kids have mechanical keyboards. I never want to read another keyboard related post again, unless it's comparing the virtues of Cherry MX blacks vs. browns vs. blues, etc., key resistance at peak and actuation, tenkeyless, key cap sets and all the rest of it.

Don't read a keyboard thread if you don't want to read about keyboard posts, simple as that. FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Seriously.
On a more serious note, seems what they keyboard is showing is not really important for gameplay. I'll skip.

Now if the LCD would start flashing some color when a monster is within attack range, or I am within attack range, I'd consider it just for that as I don't like checking the skill number to watch it change color. No, I haven't the ability yet to gauge my distances.

yea I got this keyboard to, and it is a nice thing to have, tho I don't look at it to much.

I have played quite a lot of games, all of them display the same info on the LCD screen as they do on the screen. So you don't have any need for the LCD, really. Quite boring. GW2 however didn't do this. Sure, it's still not very useful ;) but at least you don't have to open your map to keep track on things. :P
