If you haven't nailed down your race (which I'm almost positive you have), you might want to consider sylvari or norn since they have non-elite summons. Then you could use the elite summon flesh golem for ANOTHER summon.Originally Posted by sorudo

Flesh golem is pretty bad for an elite summon though, might b somewhat decent in PvE though.

I was surely going to play a golemancer with Asura Engineer. But from the looks of it you don't need to make an Asura Engineer at all. You just need to play an Asura, and you can be a golemancer regardless of profession. Asura Engineer doesn't seem get any bonus as a golemancer, when compared to let's say an Asura Necromancer.
All in all, I wonder if there is any point to make an Asura Engineer unless I enjoy the play style of the engineer. Maybe an Asura Warrior golemancer would be better. Firstly you have to kill my golem. Then you have to kill my tanky warrior. What's the disadvantage?
Compare that to an Asura Engineer golemancer, which is very vulnerable once the golem is destroyed.

Asura ranger for me. Golem and pet fight side-by-side, while I go around and backstab with greatsword.
