Traits:
30 Deadly Arts- Passives heavily rely on poison and condition damage. Grandmaster tree I took Residual Venom for an additional strike on Spider Venom and Basilisk Venom. Since my build relies around Steal I took Mug for damage while stealing with the passive that poisons when stealing. Blind and Daze are conditions too so even if poison is on cooldown you will still recieve bonus damage from the Exposed Weakness trait.
20 Acrobatics - 15 points for Feline Grace for more dodge. The extra 5 points was cause it had nowhere to go. But dodging now gives might and removes cripple and chill.
20 Trickery - Passives give 3 initiative on steal and a total 3 initiative to spend. Both traits are for Steal. You get a number of buffs thanks to Bountiful Theft and Thrill of the Crime.
How to Murk *****es:
Most of the time you don't wanna engage if you don't have numbers. The build excels at 1v1 as Shadow Shot only blinds one target and Black Powder AoE isn't large enough to cover multiple enemies dodging in and out. Short bow is for escaping or teamfights where you can stay far back. Damage is not the greatest but you can't get hit so it doesn't matter.
Usually I start off with Steal even though it regens 3 initiative, I like having the stolen weapons. Most are some kind of condition except mesmer which gives you all the boons! When stealing you do around 1k damage(Ive seen 3k crits) plus applying a poison and also closes the gap. Then use Black Powder to blind the area so when they turn on you no damage is taken. If they run then chase them and you'll do flanking damage. If they get too far use Shadow Shot for an EZ blink and blind and then continue flanking that ****. Heartseeker when they're low. If poison is taken off just re apply with Spider Venom or Needle Trap.
