You do realize the second half of the sentence answered the first half, right?

To simplify it for you, they do it during business hours so that they, like us, can enjoy their nights and weekends too.

Besides, for something like a stress test, I'd imagine they want to keep an eye on the stress that is on the servers in real time. Watching something as it happens is usually more helpful than trying to look over four hours worth of data the next day.

Not only that but they are more than likely getting to the point where most employees will be putting in a TON o overtime to make sure GW2 gets finished. But that will probably happen once we do get a release date.

Anet is way more transparent than most game companies. Unfortunately, anything less than livestreaming their creative meetings doesn't seem to be enough.

Dude, you need to like, make a dentist's appointment for Friday the 13th... and then cancel after they figure out you're going to be "busy" that day and have the next bwe on that date. Remember, the 13th, NOT the 20th. (ok, if you must do it on the 20th, but the earlier the better you know?)

I don't follow enough gaming news to know whether or not this is true.

Anyway, I'm not going to continue trying to express my point because the more I try to, the more I seem like an entitled whiner, so I am just going to shut up now.

Comment was more directed at the overall gaming community, rather than you. You are on the low end of the whiny scale.

Christ, what are you, half-French? I'm an American worker and I can't play in this beta because I have to work to feed my starving cat! He's only twenty-seven pounds and he needs ultra-deluxe carnivore cat food so he feels like a big strong man every day! I'm entitled to beta whenever, wherever it suits me!!! CATER TO ME.

Wow, that cat sounds sickly, you better stop worrying about video games and do some overtime in order to feed it because at this rate it's probably going to die.

Personally, I'm going to be busy catching up on work 'cause I was lazy and took some time off to be on a jury. It was such a fun vacation I'll probably wait to take the rest of my 10 days of vacation until September or later, definitely won't be using it on stress test days, all my stress is gone because jury duty is so relaxing, mmmmm. In fact I'm so relaxed I'm going to go to bed now.

Too bad it only lasted for four days, one more and I could have had a full week off. Other than Christmas that would've been my longest vacation since Q1 of 2007. I'm so spoiled.
