Has anybody found out yet how to get the guild emblem on weapons or armor? Do you get an item when you join a guild, like the cape in GW1?

you need to buy that service first for your guild, sadly it already takes 500 points just to unlock one of the 4 guild professions...(or what ever it's called)

Oh, so you buy the server and then you can ask them to put the emblem on your armor? Something like that?

1. You need to research "Politics I" for 500 InfluenceOriginally Posted by Guided Daggers
2. You need to research "Guild Emblem Template" for 100 Influence, which is similar to choosing a guild emblem in GW1
3. You need to research "Politics II" for 1000 Influence
4. You need to research "Guild Armorer Contract" for 500 Influence, which will unlock a guild armourer in major cities, where you can buy armour pieces with the guild emblem.
You could go on with increasing Politics levels to get guild weapons too. But that is costly (all tier III levels costs 5000 Influence)

Wow, that's a lot of influence. I should probably join a guild next BWE and see how stuff works.

The influx of Influence depends on different things:
1. Amount of members (every accepted member grant you 10 Influence)
2. Activity checks; Not sure how often GW2 checks the roster, but you get Influence for players active at that time.
3. Activity of players. Players participating in events earn influence for the guild
4. Boosts. You can research Influence boosts for the guild.
The joint GWO Alliance guild earned quite some Influence during the BWEs & the stress test. Perhaps Rhonwyn can tell how much it was and what she bought from the points so far.
