I hate you guys for reminding me about this countdown.

It's still too far away. I can't deal with it.

I keep playing the GW2 soundtrack playlist from youtoob, and I keep feeling really epic, and then I remember... it's still over a month away. It's not right to be so excited for a game. Dammit.

this might help, it did to me.
play the GW2 OST while playing GW and do multiple quests for one area, it isn't GW2 but it still makes up for the wait.

oh and one last thing, I FINALLY HAVE 30/50 WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I was just looking at all my pretty rewards... I really REALLY hope they implement a better way to get these things, instead of /gift *fill up your inventory*. Hopefully this time around we'll get a pop up asking us which item(s) we want.

The info we have at present (subject to change, etc etc, wafflecakes) is.

Then, the player must visit an NPC in the GW2 Hall of Monuments, which can be reached from one's home instance. The NPC can then generate as many of the items as often as the player would like.

So it sounds like we'll only get flooded with crud if we want to be :D

Also does anyone know if the names will be reserved for up to 24-hours after you delete a character? (like in gw1?)

Fae says they'll be reserved yeah. Maybe not 24h. But a few hours at least.

Me and a guildie played with name reservation. I wasn't able to take his freshly deleted name. And I've read somewhere that someone else tried as well and waited about 4 hours (time was running out in the BWE/ST) and still no takey. So yeah, there's a delay, but still need to iron out how long for :3
