GW 2 Character Names - what's YOUR process?

One of my asura is going to be "Raye The Strange" the other I don't wanna say cause I don't have it reserved. But yeah... I'm boring.

Doubling consonants seems to be common among asuran names tho.

They seem (like the Sylvari) to be one name kinda people, eh?

IIRC yes, both Asura & Sylvari had a lot of "one name NPCs" around, often with titles, like "Warden XY".

One of the best ways to name a character is to use a "non-english" name and add/delete some letters, which alienates the name a little bit, but still leaves it easy to recognize, e.g. Jhosef Gorani (which is my perma-pre Mes).
I never liked "funny names" in the long run (like Charrlotte for my BWE Charr Guardian) after a while it turn from funny to silly. For the BWE's Floppy & Leafy were OK names though. :)

Me neither. I want meaningful names. That's why I already made a set of names now that I have the time to think about them I might use a hint to the profession in their names (like the Charr have), but that's it.
