All I can gathering from this thread is that people are way better at making attractive characters than I am. Some of you have actually made humans that look okay! I even didn't think that was possible.

This hair style looks a lot closer to the Guild Wars 1 hair style your character has.

tried that one, pity it's so short.
i want short but it has to at least reach the mouth, you showed one that barely reaches the eyes.

would actually be a nice way to backwards promote GW1, when you finished a chapter in GW1 you can use the hair styles of it.
it will take allot of time but then again, when GW2 is released they need something more then HoM to promote GW1.

Because they're not going to waste money, time, and effort, on promoting a subpar game, obviously.

uhmm, actually they are going to do that when GW2 is released, just not they way i suggested.
also, money is money so if they can get new players to play GW1 then that's only better for them, when you can make money it's never a waste.

How so? The haven't promoted GW1 in a few years now, I don't see why they'd start after GW2 is released.

Any time they mention the HOM, like they did with a recent blog entry aimed specifically at people who haven't played GW1, then they are cross-promoting GW1. They aren't going to spend a lot of time on it, but I'm sure they will continue to mention it here and there as time goes on, if only for the sake of their own nostalgia. But, of course, it's not going to get any kind of serious market promotion unless they actually output some new content for it, which seems pretty unlikely at this moment. (But they did keep putting out new GW1 content even when they didn't really need to, so who knows.)
