The character thread!

Got a little closer... perhaps some more tweaking upon release. There is a short hair that is more to the shape of the GW1 pic, but the GW2 style chosen is the only short hair that retains the coverage of the eye.

From the GW2 options, I pretty much was able to maintain the pointy chin, eyes/brows, and lips. Maybe filling out the cheeks more could give a little more slope into the chin.

I don't understand why they can't just include all the hairstyles from GW1. It will make things easier for us carry-overers. O_O.

Having all the faces will help too. But since all 10 professions in GW1 were humans, that might be a bit much. Hair styles though shouldn't be too hard. A lot of them were duplicates anyways.

I hope on release we get more styles for faces, hair, etc, for all races. The choice seemed very limited.

Played a bit more with my potential Norn, and I'm quite happy how this one turned out. Just need to nail down a hair colour now.

Yeah, I like red heads too. All my characters have either red hair or black hair, the ones that have hair, instead of you know... furr or leaves.

I think I've finally settled on my sylvari, I really hope I can re-make her properly... I didn't like my blue/white one from yesterday. Whenever she had clothes on she looked like her face was a different color from the rest of her body :|

Didn't do much with character creation this time. Spent too much time on it yesterday, wanted to actually do things in game today.

But I did look at some other hair styles for my Sylvari, and do like this one:


I was going to go back and play around with more character creation, but hit a time warp at about 5:30 and two minutes later there was a message saying that the stress test was going to be over soon.
