Ya, there's so much you can access now it's crazy. It's just hard to get filter through it all because there's so much. It's like trying to find a good short film on youtube. There's so much useless stuff out there that finding the good stuff is just hard to do. I think the legwork is one thing that bands have that can be really hard these days. You really have to peddle your stuff so that people know about you. A lot of people don't have a big record label behind them to help advertise so they need to find pretty much anyway they can to get the name out there. I have / had a great rant from a 60s band about going out dodging the big labels. It was pretty good, I just can't remember who it was so I'll probably never be able to find it again.
