I want this too, and it's one of the reasons I was eager to switch to an Android (that and the TS3 app). However when I went searching, I found a post by Gaile Gray warning that there's no official app and the usual cautions about not giving out your password. No mention if it's even in the works. I'd link source but I'm at work and can't search long.

Well, she was right. There is no official app - yet. That doesn't mean there won't be.

Also that TS3 app is pretty hot. Pity all my circles use Vent instead.

Q: I was pretty excited about the announcement of the Mobile and Web Apps, from the blog post it seemed like a much more complex project than your traditional MMO Companion App. Will the Apps be ready for launch day?

A: For launch we won’t have any GW2 apps available for use for players. However, soon after launch we’ll be launching a robust app development program in conjunction with our community that should allow for the development of some truly spectacular GW2 app and website development. We’ll discuss this more post ship, right now we’re focused on making the release of the game the greatest it can be.

So awesome to go from official apps to an official api package. This will absolutely not be used for people who will make apps that steal your password.
