To start off...

A Sylvari named reed was a little too thin,
But he knew one day he would soar,
For even though small, the dream carried him on,
To be the best one, for sure.
One day his time came,
But not exactly the same,
As the dream he had dreamt from the pod,
A big gust of wind took him high for a spin,
And he blew far away from the sod.

The minstrel lay down his lute, warily.
Mind wrecked from the teachings of his scop.
His songs, whilst rewarding, gave hope,
Yet he knew the truth and must cope.
Darkness was coming none could ever stop.
So like a fool he spends his loot, verily.

Sparks and *Bloops* the Golem did shoot,
An Asuran red-faced tried to fix it,
Until a brilliant young mind,
Came up from behind,
And with a swift and hard kick, did save it.




Charr bread, Charr bread, what goes into Charr bread?
Broken bone and flattened beaks,
Assorted chunks of colored meats,
Rendered fat and sun-dried skin,
Noses, nostrils, muzzle, chin,
Elbow joints and Sinew scraped,
Kidneys, lungs and hearts, and wait (!) ...

Flour, milk, and honey sweet,
Little paws do kindly greet,
Fruits and berries next to rye,
Brightens every Charr cub's eye,
Bake it till its golden brown,
Feed to lil' 'ungry warriors round.

How many springs must a Sylvari dream before wakening forth from the pod,
How many summers does one have to slumber to learn of the grand world abroad,
How many falls do they sleepily nod while the dream and the nightmare conflict,
How many winters will they continue to grow, before they are soon part of it.
