Yesterday I took this very interesting test to see what game experience is most satisfying for me
and I think it is very interesting for people struggling with their profession choice,or for people who just would like better insight in what kind of players they are.

Hope it gives some insight to you too.. although this test does not suggest a profession I think it still makes it easier to discover the prefect profession once you are on the go in gw2.

Elementalist seems like a perfect match for me with the conquer-socialiser results I had,as a force to be reckoned with yet sharing the love with other players by giving support
my second character,mesmer ,maybe bit less as I scored the least on mastermind

Besides the "which profession tests" I found online are way too obvious to my liking

You have quite different results as me,interesting...
Not knowing your preference for profession types scholars/soldier/adventurer,nor prefered theme (nature,death,weaponary,magic,shadow,illusions,... )
I think you'd have most fun outplaying opponents"mastermind",perhaps you are "seeking" a more complex and challenging profession
that requires more time,insight and skill to master "mastermind" -so every victory feels like a true achievement "achiever"
The fist one that came to my mind seeing your results was mesmer and they fit that result perfectly if you think about it.
But perhaps you are not keen on scholars?
low survivor might indicate that you would not survive long in direct confrontations
lowest dardevil might point at safe distances too.So you can plan like a "mastermind" would with an overlook on the battlefield.
Or "low survivor" might indicate that you might want to look at a heavy armor soldier profession(one that is not simple and straightforward like warrior) so guardian..
If you are more into closer approach perhaps the thief,it is certainly a more complex profession and requires you to use that mastermind as none other profession would..
Although survivor score is pretty low(which for a thief should be higher perhaps)

Well all guessing from me for you :D
to some extent I know what I like and that I'm never happy in games without playing 1 spellcaster at least.
So for myself I know the one I should probably play most is one of the scholars in gw2.
I try to combine my preferences and these results to get a picture of what would truly be my perfect profession.
If I would have only had conquer as results it would still have been very difficult as every profession could conquer or overcome something.
(in many different ways in different situations)

Thats why the first few highest scores are very important too to nail the profession for you down.
And ofcourse it also tells alot about how one likes to play,perhaps pointing in a direction of a certain profession mechanic

I gonna try to give a picture why I think ele is perfect for me,from my highest score to lowest
keeping my first choice profession type in mind:scholar

Conqueror:I love to eliminate obstacles,mass destruction to all that gets in my way
And what is a more powerful conquer than the forces of nature itself?

Socialiser:I love to support and just hang out with people,the elementalist offers many ways to aid and heal its team + many cross profession combo's
ele can adapt to most situations,just like me.

Seeker:I like to search the corners of the world but I also like to discover new things about a profession in the long run.
They have alot of skills available at any time for when I'm looking for the right solution.
+right the lightning might bring me faster to that what I seek

Survivor:not best not worst survivor,but at a safe distance my chances will only increase

Daredevil: I can have my moments,but if there is a safe way" I'll take it.I'm more the type that plays along,trying to enforce that what team members try to do

Achiever: I'm not an extreme completionist.at the point of grinding I stop.

Mastermind:Well I think ele is the most direct scholar of the 3(though I will be playing mesmer too)

Mesmer? Please don't use that word around me. But at least I don't think mesmers will be the bane of my ele's anymore.

ah to each his/her own..had the impression alot I've seen online of our guild prefer the ele
And I know mesmer is not the strongest profession neither in the best position atm,still can't resist playing one as alt
(despite the test suggesting I'm not a real mastermind :D)
