If it stays like this then I imagine some time after GW2 goes live they will dedicate a few resources to create an alternate way to change guild halls or get sigils. Like how they changed the way favor works for the UW/FOW.

Please let us know if the price gets up to 20 armbraces though. I've never had more than a few of them at a time. ;-)

I had 600 once, or at least something worth that equivalent. It was kind of nifty for a while, but then I remembered it was gw1 and everyone had already quit. :(

Would have been nice 5 years ago though! But I suppose the XTH was dishing out free money every month, so it wasn't needed. No wonder the economy is so inflated. So next time you complain about gold sinks in gw2, just remember - sigils.

Not to mention how much the ectos have gone up in price compared to a year or so back.

Please let us know if the price gets up to 20 armbraces though. I've never had more than a few of them at a time. ;-)

That could take a while, seeing as armbraces are going 28-30e currently and worth more than sigils.

i just don't see why it can happen, the NPC's should always have supply.
i know that it's supply =/= demand but their should always be some, something like that the demand is monitored but the supply has a shadow amount.
it's there but not seen as supply, more something "just in case" like currently.

people now say they become worth more, but in time, people will leave GW cuz its community wont stay as active even as it is now
sigils become rare, sure... but the very few people in GW then wont bother buy it anymore, so 100 armbraces for 1 sigil (if it'd ever come) wouldnt work, and if they reduce the price to 1k, not much will change, cuz i doubt anyone returns to GW only cuz of sigils

in the future more people will leave and (due to GW2 being much more advanced and bigger, most likely) then guilds will be brare, as those wont be worth much in pve, and nothing at all in dead pvp, so Gh's wont be needed (enough towns where those npc's are)

i have faith in anet, and hope they go the ways they did lately (7 hero, embark and no idiot prices like 250 gold z coins for a weapon, or minipet, and they gave a nice z coin requirement for all ranger pets, even the newest ranger pet, which is impossible to get in any other ways :) yet NOT expensive)

think we have had that discussion a few times....but top points for: computer cant play gw2 (and no, no cash to upgrade JUST for a stupid video game), dont like the game, and who cares how many others are playing since everyone is playing with 7 heroes (for the record my hubby and I will still play together as will the rest of our tiny guild, which is the original reason we all bought the game...and not buying gw2).....

our guild never had a guild hall and since sigils are not available, never will---

another idea is to put it at merchants, as it's the best way to let people choose their halls, be it newbies or veterans
i'd say a change/addition to merch or max of 2 gold z coins, as the sigils are gonna be history anytime now

hope this isnt a bad thing, as i added some to this idea... so necro-ing shouldnt be a problem (tbh i dont see much GW1 stuff anymore here o_O)

still no sigils found at that npc..... meaning there's not much to get, and barely see people sell em
i think barely anyone wants to buy em at high prices, and go play something else, or keep their current GH if they have one.... now that i think about it, i seen more topics and chats about people buying a guild with full GH, than people buying sigils

and gh's arent much as it is now, except if a pvp guild has none yet (which is rare now)

last update for a while:

- 1 silver z coin
- 2k at merchants (which i prefer, so that everyone has the same chance to get a new GH, or switch to another)

this way, the almost useless sigils, will be bought at nice price, and wont make people upset for no reason

i take back ALL the ideas with z coins (the amounts i gave), except for 1 silver z coin
