Well, I won't be actually playing "content"... I'll do the same as I did the last stress test, only create a warrior instead of a thief this time. So, I'll be seeing the exact same surrounding, non-reading the exact same texts, skipping the exact same cut scenes

I would advice people to run the launcher ASAP to update the game well in time.
Why? Because I experienced that the update stopped with 8707 files yet to download. Download speed started high but steadily decreased to 0 kB/s after downloading some 15-16 MB. When I closed the launcher window the Gw2.exe process was still running and had to be stopped via task manager in order to be able to start the launcher again. I fixed it by renaming Gw2.dat and moving it to a different folder (I know, I could've deleted it instead) and then running Gw2.exe, effectively downloading the entire game. Thought I'd mention it in case anyone else run into the same issue
The problem was probably caused by running the launcher checking for updates shortly after the last stress test, I think I did that the same evening as the stress test, just for kicks, and got the same problem then...
Funny fact, the new Gw2.dat is only 13,9 GB while the old one was 15,6 GB

My DAT file is at 16.9 gig, but I suspect the launcher to download unwanted German audio language files as well, as it sometimes auto-assigns me the German language as default.

This might be a stupid question, but what time would that be in GMT? "Pacific time" isn't really precise - apparently there's more than one pacific time zone.
