I saw a thread on Reddit about people getting stuck in the Hunger Royale. Apparently it was quite common. I didn't experience this myself, but I also didn't stay for the last few minutes of the event -- mapped back to Rata Sum. So when I tried to log in to my guardian for the next stress test, I did see some odd loading screens. Loading Metrica Province, then Rata Sum, then Metrica Province again. But I was able to eventually log in.
I noticed the game crashed basically non-stop in persistent areas, but rarely in instances. Also, it seemed like the game liked to have a death match with windows 8 whenever possible... (yes, I realize windows 8 is in beta and may not be supported, etc., it's just weird how much the game seemed to wreck it).

I find it interesting and probably a good thing that I've played around the human starter area a bunch of times now and I'm not sick of it. Usually, I get sick of playing around in the early levels of a game. Making a new character is sort of agonizing because of it. I didn't really find GW1 too bad for this and so far I'm not really finding this to be the case now either.
Okay, the wife's away on a business trip, so I stayed up all night playing GW2 :-)
Had a quick nap, with the alarm set for 11.30 so I'd be fresh for midnight.
All in all it seemed much more robust than the Thursday stress test.
Had that constantly while fighting the Ooze boss.
In the same map, at the malfunctioned reactor, the fire lemental boss event was going on.
A guildie and I walked into the reactor and couldn't find a way to reach the boss event - until an asura NPC started to walk on air.
Yup, invisible bridge.
Also armor textures going crazy.

This Friday stress test conveniently fell on a Saturday morning for me, so I took the opportunity to test my new PC in the Sylvari starter area. There were quite a few complaints about lag and rubber banding. I had a bit of lag in the first few minutes but after that everything ran perfectly well. No issues whatsoever, as far as I could tell.
Ran great for me aswell, probably because most people were asleep here in Belgium. Best performance since BWE2. BWE1 still ran best for me.
Apparently the major lag issues only affected North American players. It sounds like Europe was just fine.
