What, getting up early or playing the entire night? I never thought I still had it in me (granted, this was at the end of a week of doing absolutely nothing but lounging in the hammock)

We're all going to log in at midnight "just to grab a few names" and then 9 hours later we've got a 2 liter bottle of pee next to us and a level 50 character getting ready to battle a dragon champion with a few new friends.

I have a large list of Asura name options I want, and it's been rather time consuming to assemble them all. Going through and making something that sounds right for the race, then making sure it doesn't sound like a real word or name, tossing out tons because I simply didn't like the sound, then putting them in order of desirability. Urf.

Then I did it all over again for my Sylvari, though that list is shorter. Then again for my possible Norn I'm not even convinced I'm going to make yet, and that list is even shorter -- but on the plus side, the Norn names are more unique so I don't expect to have too much trouble getting what I want (though if I do change my mind on the Norn it's back to the Asura, with much of the same name list as my guardian).

Then finally the two human names I have reserved from GW1, and I'll have days to make those characters. Of course I'll make them as soon as possible, but I'm at least not worried about the names.

If the game starts at 21:00, after all the character creation I'll probably play for a bit. No marathon sessions for me, however. As much as I enjoy playing, I really want to make the game last rather than rush through things. If the game doesn't start until midnight, I'll probably make characters and then go to sleep.

I'll try to get on ASAP and get a couple names with placeholder characters. Then spend an eternity creating the actual characters that will use said names.

One of the names I was wanting to get quick was for my charr necro. I've since decided to use that name as a surname so that's one less I have to worry about... btw his first name will likely be Rawr :) .

So as of right now there's one asura and one sylvari name I'm trying to get quickly... and the sylvari name I might not have to be too quick to get.

Problem is that I will likely have a second sylvari and asura and I haven't decided on their names. I want to go with single word names for those races so I might need to decide before the headstart...

I've got this all worked out for myself on Friday night.

Come home from work, check.
Go straight to bed, check.
Sleep, questionable.
Wake up around 11pm (Eastern).
Prep for launch and play through the night and into the morning, pending.

P.S. A "bottle of pee" is actually called a "Raid Bottle" and it's very real according to several hardcore raiding people I know from WoW. LOL
