Ok, time to start my plan to take over Arenanet. I'll bring sweets and roses to her grandparents. Tomorrow, a family. Soon, THE WORLD!!!The community manager for the French territory speaks Portuguese because her grandparents are living in Algarve.

Ahem, anyway....
That bit about endgame not being finished is a bit worrisome. I won't mind much because I'm not gonna speed up through the game. It's not like I'm paying a sub fee.
But I know a lot of people who are and WILL reach endgame in just a few days, if not hours, and they will not be as tolerant as me. I hope Anet is rdy for the pitchforks, because they will be there.
Very pleased to hear about an authentication system. I do hope that it's not just digital, as those smart-phone authenticators wouldn't work for me.
Not concerned about the lack of end game, personally, because I'm a very slow player. Confident that they'll have things in place long before I get anywhere near the place where the end game content may be lacking. Also keep in mind that "not 100% complete" is not at all the same as "0% complete" -- it could be just a few weeks away from full completion. Or less. Or more.
In game GMs? Excellent.
Extra forms of PvP? Not something I was concerned with due to lack of interest in PvP, but still good news because I know others do like PvP.
Good news all around if you ask me.

Not really worried about end game not ready also. Base on my available play time, I estimate my first character will take up to 5 months or more to reach the end, which does not mean i will have done all the PvE. My first GW1 character required almost 4 months to finish Prophesy.
Not terribly concerned about endgame, unless the beta had all the content. Then I'd be more worried. Although, with the noted exception of FoW and UW, I hated endgame, so I may not care at all.

Awesome -- GvG! I don't GvG, but like Mesmers, GW2 HAD TO HAVE IT!
...
The race is on to get to Zhaitan before ANET finishes!

Nice find and great news (well, except the end game stuff, but I'm sure they know how fast people can play the game).
After years of "when it's ready" I'm surprised that the game will launch with much work yet to do on endgame. Maybe push back release for another 4 months or so? Just to be on the safe side. It won't affect me as I won't be racing through either, but I fear Nem might be right.
I have visions of Anet devs desperately slapping down railway tracks as a train of several million players comes hurtling down the line. Better make it 6 months, to be really sure. Sound good?

After reading a post on Guru on this topic, I (too) think that there was something lost in the translation.
Is the game finished? Yes, I think so. Which means you can finish the entire story line from 1 to 80 and fight that final fight.
Is the game finished? No, and I think it will never be. Which means they will continue add more content to the game, both at lower levels and at end level. And as the entire game is "end game"... They simply aren't done with the end game because they can't be done with it! Unless they stop development....
