Picked it up last monday and damn it is a big box. Insane. Lot's of cool junk in there to liven up my new apartment. The way it is designed is sooooo delicious. Even finger hole for unboxing ease, some serious thought went into this thing.

I loved the envelope with the pictures. The little string .... I felt like Agent Smith :p Never saw such an envelope irl. Also a very large box to take sushi or taco's to work. Smart thinking a.net, no jobs , no gems so make sure people think of GW2 while working. The soundtrack is in my car naturally. As for the 5$ directsong rebate, I'm not interested in the full sound track so if I make anyone happy with it, I'll sell it for a gold piece :P

As for the statue, you have to see it to believe it.

The ingame junk I couldn't care less about. It's one time, I always forget about minis and I won't waste my elite on showing off. If it was between digital or digital deluxe I would have picked regular.

That box was too big. Someone thought it was a computer. As in, a desktop.

Also, harniq, be careful not to trade RL for in-game money, even if it sounds stupid. I got a temp ban once because I did something similarly innocent (imo). But then, if they allow it, you're asking for people to abuse it.

I know that's not your case, just be careful.

about the stuff. I learned in the "Making of" book that they made a joke race called Poobags. They then decided to keep the race and renamed it to Quaggans. The more you know. So far the book is interesting, and the art is really nice... but I have seen some of that art here and there... It would have been nice to see more stuff that has not been shown on the web etc. The prints are really nice.

Elite skill I will totally use on many characters, especially my guardian. Yes, I know the prof elites are supposed to be stronger, but I am just not excited by being stapled in one spot, or by having a short invulnerability. I much prefer my summons, even if it costs my elite slot.

Mini is nice. The rest of in-game stuff is junk.

Statue is too big, and I don't care about that stuff generally. I would have gotten the CE without it.

The CE was definitely a big one, though I didn't mind.

Honestly, the best part about it was that Soundtrack coupon. Why? Because they actually made the effort to make sure its retroactive if you ordered it already. Go to the site listed on it, click the "$5 refund", then just put in the code as well as the order code listed on your account for it, and bam $5 to be paid back to you.

Also, if anyone noticed in the credits on the back of the "making of" book, Rytlock Brimstone is listed in it among all the names! Speaking of that book... I want to hear that "final boss" music they made mention of in it...

Same, also on my guardian. Not sure if I missed something obvious, but I found the wolf summon to be incredibly useful and an option that otherwise would not be there.

Necro and elementalist are probably better off using their own summons. Racial summons exist, but I assume the wolf is on-par with those. Not every race has an elite summon afaik (e.g. norn).

Many professions have pretty solid elites, so while an elite summon is nice, one could argue they'd be better off using their own elites. But frankly, I'd rather have the option.

Norn has summons in their forms afaik. Engineer has supply drop which is superior to a summon in a very big fight, which is when you usually need elites. Big fights tend to be static (in pve)
