New One-Time World Event: The Lost Shores (November update)

I'm experiencing severe lag on this event and the npc's are not working. When I talked to one of them he didn't say anything and filled up my bags with shells. Overall I'm having fun but this event was a but frustrating.

The Karka are rough! Especially that ranged attack they have. Try getting hammered by three of those at once. Ouch.

If you can manage to bounce them back at them, they do nice damage.

I got 2-shotted by those burrowing worms, and I have over 2.7k armor. Cute.

I did the island with the zerg using my scale-upped level 43 warrior. I was hoping the reward ( especially xp ) would be that of a real level 80 but nope. A quest that gave my true level 80 ranger 16k+ xp would give my warrior a 1k+ xp. Disappointing overall.

I didn't have a lot of problem when facing any foe (but those veteran karkas) alone. Those veterans have two lives and can hit very hard...

Those burrowing worms do hit very hard, but the description of an event there said to evade them

i am kinda using the zerg fest to take down worms, while they distract them i nuke them with conditions and explode minions right in their faces.

Haha yea, those things are nasty! Does not help that they are commonly in tight spaces so no dodging around, and they have long periods on invulnerability when underground so can not keep hammering when they are between attacks.

Finished that hunt, got my karma liquid but..
Ellen didn't take away the maps and stuff.
They still needed for Phase 3?
Are we killing the ancient Karka with a moldy bag?
