i was remaking my guardian and decided to make a norn, first made a female norn but while i was playing i did some voices.
obviously it's all in low pitch but then it hit me, i wanted to make a guy like this:
now i can understand that i can't perfectly make something like this but i would at least expect a simple mustache, we have all kinds of beards and a Metallica mustache but that's it.
we seriously need a mustache that looks like one, not everyone wants to look like gandalf or a big size dwarf.

The thing is, that's norn culture for you and norn culture is, in part, drawn from pre-Chistian Nordic culture. Name a single figure from that time who settled for a mere 'tache.
Also, as the player of a beardless norn, I resent being compared to senile old men and petrified dwarves.

There's no shame in asking questions. Ask away at the Newcomer and Questions Forum for GW2. GW1 archive here.
Here comes your warrior, he's letting you know... that you can discuss the profession here.

Even if the culture tends to be a given way, it doesn't mean we need to abide by the rules.
Like how Night Elves don't worship demons, except for that one exception... and I wanted to make a NE warlock... why not?
So yeah, not that I need this, but I think it's a good idea.

You can tell the quality of life of people by what they complain about
It's a mustache you get by listening to Metallica, obviously.
Or maybe it's Kirk Hammett's stache, second from left:

That's Hulk Hogan.
..he doesn't play in Metallica.
And they're called handlebar mustaches.
