Daily/Monthly
I log in, check the TP on how "hot" items are doing (buy/sell); Farm fractals lvl 10+; farm dungeons; farm DE's; check TP; Log off.
@Fae - is it even possible to farm 10g in an hour; besides selling some good drops? If so, I am all ears.

What kind of difference does full MF gear + con + banner make? I've never tried MFing at all. But exotics go from about 2 gold up to like 11 gold for normal ones.

I want an option so the monthly/daily show up as quests, so I don't have to click on achievements all the time to check my progress.

Re: Fluff.
There's really not enough data on it. Some people get sufficient loot just by running MF jewels, some will wear any armor but with MF runes, and some wont leave a city without full MF armor, weapons, jewels, runes, food, the lot.
At a bare minimum, in generally doofling around PvE I'd recommend eating some form of MF food at the very least.
The banner isn't *that* much, I just like dropping them during big/long events as a morale booster for everyone in the group :D
Re: Alaris
Me too. In WoW you could pin achievements to your quest list. So if you were working on something like KILL ALL THE CRITTERS, you could have a counter there just like you would any other "kill ten boars" or "collect 20 boar butts" quest. It was very very handy.

Admittedly, WoW had a pretty sophisticated interface. That's an area GW2 still has some catching-up to do.

I think I've been getting more yellows in the Fractals with higher magic find, but then again, no solid numbers to back that up. It also could be because I'm now slightly further into the Fractals than I used to be. At the least, the number of greens to feed to Zommoros and ectos from salvaging yellows per run went up slightly.

It does allow third party mods, but it was something that a very vocal segment of the community was opposed to because they were scared of the possible implementation of damage meters, and the horror that they might have to play effectively.
Nevermind that even with damage meters my cousin's other grandmother has no problem playing it and bragging about all the raids she does and the loot she gets. And she's 65.

Wow does allow 3rd party add-ons, but even without, it had time to develop lots of bells and whistles.
As for damage meters, some want it to be able to tell who needs improvement (some argue that only you should be able to see it), while others don't want it because it would change the way people play and encourage elitism.
I can see fair arguments being made on both sides. Personally, I prefer elitism based on hard data rather than unreliable self-evaluation. Elitism will exist regardless.
