Guild Wars (Anet) without NC Soft

With NC Soft's share price dropping like a pact airship on the wrong end Zhaitan; currently at its lowest ever, 30% lower than its previous lowest.
With the company being heavily criticised in the press.
Profits being down & cancelling a profitable game.

Will Guild Wars, both of them, be able to survive if NC Soft is driven under...

I assume a profitable franchise like this would be picked up easily by potential buyers, or ANet might even buy themselves out. Probably the latter.

I haven't had any problems myself, but I have heard some horror stories, an acquaintance from an old guild had his account stolen, when he tried to get it back he was accused of bot'ing & banned.

As long as ANet can keep going & they don't take my games away!

I would LOVE to see this. Not a fan of NCSoft.

Before saying how bad NCSoft is, remember it was that very same NCSoft that not only took one but two risks by approving the development of both GW1 and GW2 when everyone else was still in the WoW mentality.

Glad to see the mobile job posting. They did promise mobile apps, hopefully this'll be more than just the authenticator...

i dunno about you but NCsoft is allot better then some backstabbing nutjob MMO hosts like cryp**** or SOE, they have a pretty good service and give more and more payment systems which don't bug out.
