Oceanic Guild in GWOnline Alliance?

I was looking over the GWO Alliance and it didn't seem like there was an oceanic guild. If there is demand for it I would be happy to provide my guild as an oceanic guild. We are very small mind you I haven't seen many oceanic players on this forum so it may well be a waster of time.

Just in case you are wondering we are Elemental Attunement [ELA] on SoS.

Well, to be fair there's not much of an alliance to speak of in gw2, due to the way guilds work. This might change at some point down the line if they ever implement guesting and alliance support, but right now the most there is to offer would be a forum subsection, heh.

Not to discourage you from wanting to join or anything, just pointing out there's very little practical use.

I'd be cool with an Oceanic branch, though I don't know what the benefits of this would be in game.

I know most Oceanic players are on Sea of Sorrows so figure if there is the crowd here for it and demand for; its worth a shot. I would love to see some organised WvW or something going on, I imagine it would be a helluva lot of fun.

Like Shawn said, there's not really much of an alliance since those do not exist in GW 2. However, I think it is a great idea and would round out our time zones :)

Also note that the alliance is officially SBI (NA) and Aurora Glade (EU)

Allying with your guild would mean our official Oceanic server is SoS, but I don't think there's a lot of alliance folks in SoS already though (since we're officially SBI and AG)

So I guess we know how Dii feels about this, let's hear about the other guilds?

I'd have no problem with it. And hell, if we happen to get alliances sometime down the road, why the hell not? I mean, yes, SBI and AG are our official servers, but I see nothing wrong with adding SoS for Oceanic people, even if unofficially.

Shall I setup a poll to gauge everyone's thoughts on it? Then we can assess if its worth pursuing or not.
