My favorite profession for anything underwater is engineer because: grenades. What's that, Mr. Sharkie? You hungry? Here you go! Playing my other professions underwater is such a drag now, since my engineer can fling grenades so far, and he actually has more than 2 (generally bad) weapon choices underwater.

Underwater combat... hmmm... yeah... grenades are fun there, but otherwise not sure what I like underwater. I like the 3D aspect of it, but I find a lot of weapons underwater are just too meh. Too many skills I don't like using, like those that make me plunge forward, or make foes sink away from me.

My favourite is necro. While it is clearly UP in WvW, it just fits my play style.
