As the title says... how did ArenaNet do with their time in 2012? what do you want them to do in 2013?
- I for one was just happy that the game launched in 2012, buggy as it was, it needed to.
- The clock tower and the world event dragons were pretty much the highlight for me.
- I wish they had made the costumes available outside of town, and more than one-time only, more like the GW1 costumes.
- I also wish that prices weren't so inflated and that the gold sinks weren't so... sinkful =[
As to what I'd like to see from them in 2013...
- More personal story, less Traherne. I really hope he gets Rurik syndrome in the future.
- I want to see the name change contracts, just because it's a nice option to have, not really because I want one.
- I want to be able to get a permanent banker and TP guy without spending hundreds of dollars on the black lion chests.
- While we are at it, I want them to make the black lion chests more worth it.
- Finally, champions should drop loot.
There, I think that's all...
So now you go!

No town clothes in combat = no care.
Black Lion chests are junk, they should increase the price and make them valuable to open every time, akin to Dota2 chests.
The problem is that morons are going to buy up this **** no matter how trashy it is, so the rest of us that don't want to throw our money away gambling are out of luck. Actually, I guess I just have issues with the gemstore overall - I realize they're trying to monetize the game moreso than gw1, but.. come on. There are better ways to go about it than this blatant cash grab/violation they have going on now.
That said, the wintersday stuff was much better than Halloween. The good skins were free, the bad ones were gems. It felt like we were being taken advantage of slightly less than previous updates.
Agreed that I'm happy the game launched in 2012!
I love all the content they've added post-launch. Free content.
Downsides...
Still bummed about the change from account-wide to character-based dyes.
Town clothes are totally useless. I'm not as crazy about the armors as I was in GW 1.
For 2013...
More armor and weapon skins.
Making legendaries a BIT easier to obtain (they're still kind of crazy).
More fractals!
Doing SOMETHING with town clothes.
Expansion announcement!
More classes?
Unlocking more of Tyria.
More events! But no more one-time events...

I doubt we'll get more classes, I think if anything we'll get more races...

Moar professions would be awesome. But that can wait a bit, still only got 3 to lvl 80.
