A few notes about the jumping puzzle discovery.
You only have to get to the beginning of the puzzle. For Urmaug's Secret in Lion's Arch, just run into the cave. Even at the very bottom you still get credit. Same for most others I've "discovered," the only one that required much progress was Dark Reverie in Caledon Forest, and that's no surprise. Complete Morgan's Leap or have someone open the gate, go across the bottom to where you start jumping up again, poof credit.
Alts count. So one alt running into the cave for Urmaug's Secret is one discovery. Another alt running into Urmaug's Secret is another.
Tier 2 (out of three) is 20 puzzles. Wouldn't surprise me if it's just 30 puzzles altogether, but I'm at 12/20 (taking a bit because I am running around to different puzzles rather than simply alt-hopping in Lion's Arch) so won't know for sure for a bit longer. Edit to add: Yep, 30 total.

They fixed fractals, right? Maybe I can finally get past level 3.
I do love the WvW requirement personally. But I understand people getting bored of it.

I actually found the WvW monthlies to be the easiest section of the monthly to complete. It's the fractals one that might not get done on time...
Though I suppose judging by how mightily we (SBI) are going to fall in WvW, it may not be so simple any more.
Aaand since JP is part of the monthly, I imagine I'll skip, unless I get it done accidentally, hah.

To those with a dislike for WvW but still wishing to complete the monthly, I can only suggest to not approach WvW with the stopwatch in hand, counting the "wasted" minutes you spend there trying to get the 50 kills asap.
Unlike the dungeons, it requires no real commitment over an extended period of time. Set a goal for 5-10 kills, if you're bored by then, leave and come back another day, it's the monthly after all
That said, I wouldn't mind having the WvW requirement rotating with other stuff either, it's always nice to have a little variety.
