Moderator's note:
There was no real "Builds" thread in the Guardian sub, and that needed fixing.
So I merged the other build posts scattered throughout the sub to this thread.
So yeah, since I'm an awesome person I decided to share with everyone my leveling build on my guardian. My elitist friends told me I was stupid for sharing it.
Anyways, you can find it on the front page in a nice sexy article.
The sexy article is here.
Place your questions/comments about the build here and I will get back to you as soon as I feel like it.

Seems a little defensive for my tastes. SY seems like something too good to pass by, and it you use the trait that gives you increased damage per boon, it becomes even better. I don't think you need a signet to reduce damage, I'd personally prefer all offense.
But anywho, I don't mean to be a negative nancy, just trying to provide a different point of view. Thanks for the post.
Very nice, well thought out! Thanks for sharing
Nah, I heard this a lot from a fellow guardian who was leveling with me. I beat him out on leveling time cause he kept dying too much once he hit the 60's. This build does great damage, especially if you follow the correct rotation. You'll also be able to beat out most of the offensively traited guardians, because you can fight more mobs at once than they can.
The biggest problem with taking an offensively based guardian is that you are reliant on protection boons. too much, and you have to kill everything in a certain amount of time (cause those protection boons don't last too long).
Don't get me wrong though, if you are just fighting mobs solo, this build will feel slow.
Thanks for your excellent guide.
I was focussing on the same traits (see my post in the trait thread), but your skills and rota work a lot better than what I had used thus far.
A little addition: my guardian is weap/armorsmith in crafting
As weapon smith, you can produce sharpening stones:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Supe...arpening_Stone
Nourishment (30m): Gain power equal to 6% of your toughness
Gain power equal to 4% of your vitality
+10 Experience from kills
which imho fit perfectly to your build.
I have a question about one minor detail. Why "Leap of Faith -> Binding Blades -> Symbol of Wrath (Greatsword skill #2) -> Pull -> Whirling Wrath -> Attack " and not "Leap of Faith -> Symbol of Wrath (Greatsword skill #2) -> Binding Blades -> Pull -> Whirling Wrath -> Attack" ?
I understand that order if you are alone but if there is allies around I would suggest the latter for AoE condition removal ?

AoE cond removal is on Symbol of Wrath -> Whirling Wrath afaik, so neither option really works for that.
I often keep leap of wrath unused as I walked into the mob, and then do ring of fire (or whatever it's called) and combo leap off of it to give me a burning shield (that burns nearby foes).

According to official wiki, binding blade has combo finisher blast -> it at least should work as AoE cond removal ?
Each one is a whirl finisher, so each one is going to have the same condition removal effect, that also means that your allies have to be standing right next to you for the condition removal to have an effect. That will most likely result in their death because they are not as tough as a guardian is with this build. It's counter-productive to have them run into the danger zone for condition removal, and it's counter-productive for you to run out of a fight just to remove conditions.
This isn't a "support the team" build, it's a "stand next to 5-8 mobs and kill them" build. The first rotation is set up for its efficiency. Pull them into the symbol, then unleash your attack. It's that simple. Your job is to stand against multiple mobs AND kill them, you can't do that if you are worrying about your team.
If you are looking to support your team, I would suggest a staff - scepter/torch (or) hammer build, with points into Virtues and Honor.
