ha. My post does look pretty bad now that I'm seeing it later today. Buuut (and it is a very big butt) I have been working in television for something like over a decade. I'd like to think I know a little bit about some things.

OT Why don't they have a position for something exciting like a balloon operator?

If you're really interested in this, you should send them an email. Even if they aren't hiring for that position, someone in the department may agree with you and bring you on anyway. Won't know unless you try! (I've been doing personal story stuff lately, and it really does need some work.)

I can understand that ArenaNet must get thousands of applications for those few, precious jobs and can't possibly make interviews for them all, but I can empathize with those who get denial form letters. It's heartbreaking to feel robbed of the opportunity to talk to someone. So for all you who apply at ArenaNet, I wish you luck.
