Update to fix disconnect issues has gone up now

Thankfully, after the patch I didn't have any disconnect issues. Yay!

Also combo kills have also been removed from the daily rotation for now, because you had to land a killing blow with a combo, instead of just doing a combo while killing a foe. Slight (but significant) difference.

According to the forum thread, some of the finishers (like Blast Finishers) weren't properly triggering it. Which explains why I was having so many problems with it, using just a blast finisher.

I like the idea of combos, but given how finicky it was, I'm very happy it's not in the rotation until it's fixed.

I had a friend jump form vistas to kill themself to get the last couple of reses for my daily. I wasn't in WvW and wanted to go to bed.

Rezzing NPCs also counts. There are lots of places to find dead NPCs in just about every map.

The crafting thing is going to encourage me to make food for guildies for wvw, so that's yay. \o/

Before the update I was kind of meh about the new rewards laurel system, but after trying it out I eat my reservations -- its fun; interested how all the rest works out for PvE.


BTW 200k karma probably assure the mini from the new karma boxes, I spent 600k karma and got 5 account bound minis of the same :c

I don't use karma so wanted mini... need to save back up now for a legendary lol. Got most of it back by just drinking the karma potion rewards + karma boosts.

If you keep old emails from renown NPCs (the mail you get after completing a heart), check them again. I've found a whole bunch of experience attached to them.

I wish I had them all still... But the game deleted them....

I don't care for the XP, but I wanted to keep all mails I got. But it turned out you couldn't.

lol I know. I was running around trying to find some. I did that for a good 10-20 min and couldn't find any. A vista on a really big cliff was close by. It did it's job for my last 2 resses.

Just had time to do my daily, but I noticed an undocumented update to the Elementalist's "Magnetic Grasp". It is split into the "Grasp", which does immoblize and a secondary "Leap" which makes you leap toward the target. Not sure how the damage numbers (now split) relate to the old damage, but the timed leap finisher can be used more precisely now.

PS: Found the Laurel reward NPC in Fort Mariner. Those rewards look really useful. Ascended Rings & Amulets for 35. That's not too bad if you don't do fractals.
