We are also hearing rumors swirling of MERC and ND following them thanks to a generous offer by the Blackgate server to fund the gem transfers for both guilds. (Side note, MERC advertises a 1500 player base and ND advertises an 850 player base).

Drama? Top Tier splits after said drama? People migrating to other servers in order to exact vengeance on originator of drama? Incentives for transfers? I can't remember where I said this would happen, but I totally nailed it. Probably in game at some point, or maybe to a SoS inhabiting friend.

Although I'm kinda bummed cause I was hoping to get away from playing against those (now ex-SoS) guilds for a while, zzzz.

Yes, but it suggests people spending lots of RL money to get an in-game advantage, which is kinda ridiculous imo. Not that I doubt the existence of such people, rather I find it ridiculous that they'd spend that kind of money on accounts other than their own for reasons having little to do with generosity (afaik).

Actually, Dii pretty much decided to stick to Kaineng regardless of what happens, bandwagon-wise. I certainly can't vouch for other guilds, nor do I actually care. I care about being on a server with as many people from this forum as I can.

Going with the guild is cool, yo. No issues there. :D Just yeah, JQ, SoS, Kaineng have all had their histories of The Place To Be kinda thing. Just found it amusing is all ^_^ No hate. Promise.

Well, we did pick Kaineng because it was one place to be (SoS was a close call) but decided it was the final transfer.

Server-hopping is a very expensive thing for a guild, and to what purpose? Personally, so long as servers are ranked, it will be fun and challenging in any of the top 50% servers. I'd be scared that populations get too lower at the bottom ones, but then queue times at the very top ones is not a good thing either.
