I suspected as much.
Anyway, why would you need a mobile app for lfg? Do people play GW2 on their phones?
So you can check listings without exiting the game. Also you can set up push notifications for any particular event you might be interested in - for example, notify for all listings for Cadecus Manor path 2 newbie friendly, or Fractals level 20 speed run.

I don't understand why everyone doesn't play in full screen window mode. Even if you don't have two monitors, why not be able to bring up a browser or other program while still being able to see some of your game screen? Unless there's some kind of performance hit I'm unaware of.
Other reasons would be not being tied to your computer while at home while waiting for a group to form up.

Well, many games suffer a performance hit when running in windowed mode... not sure if GW2 suffers that too.
Also, in windowed mode there's a chance that you might click outside the window (or worse, on the close app button) with the negative consequences that brings up.

Also, in full-screen windowed, there is no close app button in the corner. It looks the same as fullscreen, but as said, you can bring up your browser etc. in front by alt-tabbing, while keeping the game window in the background. It's highly useful.

You can alt-tab regardless... the only issue is when I need to make heavy use of other windows (e.g. shopping for mats for crafting) then I put it in windowed mode not fullscreen.
