Hello
The General Idea Behind What The Title Reveals Is A Revial Of IMO The Funnest Place In GW, DoA The Domain Of Anguish
This Would Mean Simply I Set Up A Group For DoA, Every One In That Group Tells There Guild/Alliance.....
Rinse And Repeat With New Players Forming New Teams.
Ok I'll Spell It Out
-Me And 7 Players Make A Team (Post On Here To Join That Team)
-Then You Tell Your Guild If Your In That Team
-Your Guild Sets Up Another Team
-Keep Making Teams Throughout The Alliance
Think About It This Way
If We Give Some Players A Feel Of The DoA Balanced Play Team
They Will Want To Play There More,
Which May Again Increase The Intrest In The Market For Certain Gems And Drops
So We Profit By -Having Fun
-Making Money
-And Realising You Have Done A Good Dead
So All Of You Who Enjoy DoA Paste On Here
Want To Make Some Teams In Alliances Or Guilds PM me for IGN
Question, when you said the DoA balanced team, are you meaning the "holy trinity" build that ruled it for so long? Because, honestly, I'd love to try this area like other areas...with the build you feel most comfortable bringing.

they would make it better if they allowed henchies in too, sice DoA went redundant not many people do it, not everyone likes tormented stuff, although i would like to kill some of the high class margs for revenge
I'd love to be able to go and do this area (along with other elite areas) the 'Old Fashioned Way'. You know, 8 person teams, doing it for the fun and achievement, bringing builds they feel would suit the area the best.
Sure, it would be harder and would take a lot longer. But it would feel like more of an achievement once you did do it. Doing it for farming and the such...kind of makes it boring.
I'd love to try out DoA. I've only enterd there once with my ele and three heroes using my normal airspike build rofl ... think we might have killed one margonite all together xD
allthough my guild consists of me and one other, my friendlists consists of about 6 players who still play the game and usually 2 are online at the same time at most :P so I wouldn't be bale to promote as much as someone in a bigger guild/alliance'
but count me in if this goes through... and OH! 1 month old, this thing still on?

Amen to that - but is that even practical with not only DoA but the other areas as well? Thus far my preference remains for Sorrow's Furnance, but I wouldn't lump that in with the other "elite"/high end areas.

PS: If we really want to revive DoA, shouldn't we just un-nerf Ursan?

I would gladly join a weekly DoA group...KrySpike only, however. KrySpike is a mix of the Cry Way and ObbyTank party builds. It's fairly simple, but requires 2 flawless tanks, a target-savvy caller, and spike-savvy Cryers. Here's the build: http://gwshack.us/d6e12
And here's the epic guide that taught me *almost* everything I know about DoA. I'd be surprised if it didn't teach everyone something. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10333047
If we can assemble at least one team, I'd gladly take part in the group..this is a great mission.
I'm rather fond of builds featuring physical/conditons and paragon TNTF/SY http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_DoA_Physicalway - I can attest that a good team running the basic components of this build can do as well or better than an ursan team having done ursan, cryway and the boring trinity builds. It's also a heck of a lot more fun that waiting for one person to gather mobs (and often fail to gather) while you stand around. Also, if you know how the build works, three of the roles are flexible and can be refactored to accomodate other classes. For instance, we frequently sub in a fragility/fevered dreams/technobabble mesmer and it's equally as effective.
I'm not sure I can join in on this particular event, but I'm usually hard up for people to fill in the team or I'd go more often than I do currently. So if that interests anyone, pm me the role(s) you can fill and I'll add your name to my friend list.
I'd be interested in joining that team of yours, and I'd send you a PM if your inbox wasn't full.
I only have mesmers and a monk in a DOA-ready state though, and there's a relatively huge time difference between Seattle and central Europe. To add even another worrying detail: I'm not used to monking anymore after my recent break from GW. Any monkish activities would be no top performances, especially not since I haven't ever monked in DOA before and don't know what the foes are about to do.
I would be interested in joining anyway though. IGN: Lytha Juliania
