Not really. You can finish Prophecies with low level armor, or low level weapons, or with only the skills you get from skill quests; and while there are plenty of things you couldn't do only with that, if your goal is to "REACH" the conclusion of the story, you don't need half the things you claim you need.

Now how about a mini you get for your toons birthday? Is that not an experience?
|
No. Playing in that year is an experience; getting a miniature is just a memento of being around for one more year, but the item itself isn't an experience. Or in other words - do you play for an year to get the miniature, or do you get the miniature because you played for an year? Likewise, if you lost the miniature, would your year become meaningless? Or would you have lost just a (very small) memento of said year?

You just basicly made an incredibly thoughtless post and now you won't own up to it. It's as simple as that.

Oh, I am. I'm also having a lot of fun seeing how the "best" argument against my point so far has been "Wrong. Wrong. Wrong". If you haven't noticed, even the OP here mentioned how I'm right; but please go on, I'm having fun right now.

Most people don't start collecting anything of higher value until they finish at least one of the campaigns.
|
It's always nice when people assume "I" is a synonym of "most people". I'm not really interested when you began collecting your items, but almost all of them are available before you finish any campaign.

Nicer skinned weapons and armors also come along with finishing the game.
|
Really? Because, again, all the prestige armors in Prophecies are before the end of the game, all prestige armors in GW:EN are before the end of the game, etc, etc...

Most of the fancier stuff costs more and you usually can't buy it normally through single game play.
|
So now "I" is also a synonym of "you"? My, "I" surely means a lot today.

So what game are you playing?

Unlike you, it appears I'm not playing "let's pretend everyone plays the game the way I do".

Ectos, Shards, FoW armor...

You mean, "ectos, shards for FoW armor", which was the only source of grind in Guild Wars originally? Yes, hence my "next to zero" grind, as opposed to zero.

He wasn't asking for anything. But if the experience is the only thing that matters to you then seriously, why not just help out by giving up your things? It's not like it'll affect your experience right?
|
Why? He doesn't need help. He has not lost anything of value to me. In other hand, why are you not helping him, if you think losing his items is going to hurt his gameplay so much?

But the point still stands that you're callous towards anothers loss.

I'm frankly not worried about the loss of a few pixels. You, too, will lose everything your Guild Wars characters have, and it will come regardless if you want it to happen or not, sooner or later, when the servers are closed. If you then look back and feel like you have wasted your time...It would mean you didn't really play the game, you just grinded through it.
