I'm kinda surprised a thread hasn't been started on the new buffed Perma SF engine. I've gotten into the build and here's the build that I use.
Assassin / Elementalist
12 + 3 Dagger Mastery 10 + 3 + 1 Shadow Arts 10 + 3 Critical Strikes You have an additional 13% chance to critical hit. Whenever you critical hit, you get 3 Energy.

Well, its a fairly obvious combo that was around before this buff (the perm shadowform bit). People are just running the old A/E farming builds again mainly.

Vastly more effective imo and has been around since the day of the buff.

on-topic: i'm kinda suspicious about the connection of this and the fact that sup runes of shadow arts are sold out. i checked yesterday because i want a dedicated armor set for this (until they nerf it again) and found out that only minor shadow arts runes were on sale. no majors nor superiors.
I'm trying to think of a person in my guild who has'nt started a Sin, if they did'nt already have one, since the SF buff.

The amount of Sins in UW and Tombs running A/E builds in Canthan armor should be proof enough of how justifiably abused this build has become, rune shortage just backs the theory up.

you call it abuse, but think for a second. Tombs and UW just 2 areas. Have you ever seen a SF in a mission? No. How about dungeons? Doubt it. Face is SF still has limited uses, being to farm, and that's it. Besides, its not like you can't farm with other professions with other builds. Maybe run Droks since it is very hard with sins (but possible esp with alcohol + dwarven stability...but you need a lot of alcohol). 55ing and other builds are still viable to farm in their selected areas and are usually much faster too. I know that for sins, crit def/melee farming can be much faster than SF farming.
it uses 3 superior runes to be able to attain high enough shadow arts to mantain perma-shadow form, while reaching the max critical strikes break point (13) aaaand to keep pretty high dagger mastery too.
The ones using Earth skills don't need more than a shadow arts superior though.
