Wintersday Art Contest Winners

The Wintersday Festival invited players to create and submit works of art that represent the special holidays of winter. Hundreds of players accepted that invitation and created some seriously striking seasonal art. Entries arrived from every corner of the globe, in all kinds of media: 2D art, 3D art, pencil sketches, paintings, screenshot compilations, even 3D models! Congratulations and thanks to all who submitted their work.

(if you omit the _(small) you can see it bigger, but the download is 6mb then :-) )

I had send it in both RL and as image, just incase the RL piece didn't arrive or got damaged in transport (a 55cm long plastic plate made of iron together beads is quite fragile I think... )

I do hope that it didn't got thrown away or something, but got a place on some shelf in the ArenaNet offices.

yet again, this year what was chosen as the grand winner is another lemon. Bravo, anet. I stopped entering since the first contest because poor judging criteria.

The above artwork is possibly stolen.

It was actually done by Makani - the girl who drew the comic that got one of the top prizes. ಠ_ಠ
